Copy & Paste Dashboard Items in Tableau

This is the feature we have all been waiting for! You’ve spent many, many clicks perfectly formatting an item in your dashboard. Then you realize you need this in a similar way multiple times – do you have to do it all over again?

No! You can now simply copy and paste dashboard items, such as buttons, text objects, images, and containers. Tableau will retain all formatting you have done for this item and simply bring it in again as a floating object. Enjoy!
